| Like I promised here some pictures of mine in the moment partly dismantled
504 Cabrio. I bought the car in the summer off 2001 from a merchandiser who sold it for somebody who needed the money. The former owner had made a lot of exercises already, like a new roof, new TRX's (5x) and a complete new black leather interior. The car was re sprayed in Gris Quartz. Technical this car is in a perfect condition and is absolutely rust free. But never the less that was not enough. I own a Peugeot dealership so I have a name to keep up and this could be an example of what we can do in our company. But most of all its fun to understand how and why they made it work like this and its a challenge to make some invisible improvements. Off course without hurting the original idea and with the slogan " You are feeling better in a Peugeot" in mind. |

The schedule for this car is as follows:
* Jan/Feb; complete stripping off the body, sand blasting and galvanize.
for the parts: sand blasting and epoxy.
* Feb/March; spray in the original metallic color with an extra lacquer.
complete tectyl treatment off the body.
* From April: Rebuilding until .......................

Part II
Update 19 - 03 -2002
In this moment the car is totally stripped and on 19/3 it will completely sandblaste. Then we have to do some wellding and a thorough treatment of the body shell, new sealed, body shoot, waxoil, etc.
Some parts, like: suspension, airfilter housing, valvelid, wheels, etc will be sandblasted to and put in the epoxy laquer.
All that work pays of and is worth the trouble and I can't wait for the result.
